Unifying the way email addresses are fetched and validated across the dialog and main site.

* Adding a helpers file which are generic helpers to be used universally.
* Updating all email retreivals from the dom to go through one function.
* Updating all tests involving emails to check for leading/trailing whitespace.
* Update the compression script.
